Welcome to my web site. My name is Kath Griffin. I  am a remedial therapist and registered with the CNHC (Complimentary and Natural Health Care Council).

Many of us develop aches and pains as a consequence of day to day activities such as driving, working at a desk, working in a way which is physically demanding or in sport and recreational activities. Sometimes the pain is a consequence of repetitive action and comes on over a long period of time and sometimes after an acute injury or surgery.

Pain might also be the expression of an underlying complaint such as arthritis or other chronic condition.

Whatever the case, massage can help  to alleviate the pain you experience and to manage a chronic condition, restoring a fuller range of movement, enabling you to move more freely and to enjoy life.

Massage is often quoted as the oldest form of medicine and is known to have been in use for several millennia. The instinct to rub a pain away or the desire to rub it better are the foundations of this physical medicine.
The power of touch to heal is well documented and science has given us answers as to how this comes about but the communication between therapist and patient is also important.

My aim is to make you comfortable and to provide you with a treatment that will benefit you long after you leave the therapy room.
